ARE YOU A DIAMOND IN THE DUST?

Diamonds in the Dust is a foundation created in 2019 by Jessica Lynne Witty that awards an annual scholarship and mentoring session to two women who demonstrate ambitious pursuit of their passion.

The yearly deadline for the application and its requirements is October 31st (extended to December 31st, 2020) and the winner will be announced on or around January 1st of the following year.

THE DIAMOND AWARD Scholarship
  • $500 CASHIERS CHECK
  • GIANT AWARD CHECK (promotional)
  • 60 Minute 1:1 Mentoring session with Jessica Lynne Witty
 
THE CARAT AWARD Scholarship
  • $100 Cashiers check
  • 30 minute 1:1 Mentoring session with Jessica Lynne Witty

APPLICATION PROCESS

APPLICATION CRITERIA

You will be considered if you...
  • Are a woman or and individual identifying as woman ages 17 and up.
  • Completed the application form below.
  • Create video according to guidelines.
  • Provide us with a headshot promo photo.

VIDEO GUIDELINES

The video will be evaluated by content only, not quality of production. Smartphone is fine.
The video must be 90 seconds long or less (any video over 90 seconds will not be accepted).
The video must provide answers to the following three questions:
  • What is your passion?
  • What are you currently doing to pursue your passion?
  • What would you do with this award to make a difference in the pursuit of your passion?

    APPLICATION:

    Please mention all or any achievements you may have along with links.
    Youtube or Vimeo links preferred.
    You must fill out at least one of the following links:

    AWARD RECIPIENT RESPONSIBILITY​

    • Recipient of the Diamond Award Scholarship and the Carat Award will be required to make one follow up video thanking Diamonds in the Dust Foundation as well as talking about how this award will benefit the pursuit of their passion.
    • Recipients likeness and application video may be utilized by Diamonds in the Dust Foundation for future and on-going promotion of the annual award.
    • Recipients are responsible for the declaration of the $500 and $100 awards as income.
